Margaret R. "Peg" Kirvan, 82, of Findlay passed away at Birchaven Village on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. She was born on August 9, 1939 to the late Brice M. and Grace (Moore) Houdeshell. She married Walter J. Kirvan on September 17, 1957 and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1998. She is survived by three children: Kathy (Ken) Chamberlain and Karen (Mike) Eier, both of Findlay; and Schuyler B. (Cindy) Kirvan of Benton Ridge, OH; eight grandchildren: Ernie (Tawney) Chamberlain, Kendra (Matt) Brunswick, Brad Eier, Andrea (Kevin) Pack, Melissa Eier, Mike (Corrina) Trumpy, Rachelle Allen, and Brandon (Jaqueline) Kirvan; and 13 great-grandchildren. A brother, William P. Houdeshell, also preceded her in death. She was a former member of College First Church of God, the Social Order of the Beauceant, and Findlay Chapter #23 OES. Peg was a leader for Campfire and Bluebirds. The family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and staff of Birchaven Hall F for their special care. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 1, 2021 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, with Deacon Mike Eier officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00pm on Sunday, October 31, 2021 and for one hour (10:00-11:00am) prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
