<p>Allen Lee Sutfin, 79, of Battle Creek, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Bronson Battle Creek.&nbsp;</p> <p>He was born on June 28, 1942 to Milan and Clara (Jackson) Sutfin in Battle Creek. He graduated from Harper Creek High School. Allen worked as an Assembler for Union Pump in Battle Creek, retiring after 43 years. He married Joyce Slayton on January 3, 1970.</p> <p>He enjoyed traveling locally and throughout the United States to garage sales, estate sales and antique sales with his late wife Joyce. Together they enjoyed helping at the hot air balloon festival in Battle Creek. Allen always kept a very clean yard and would frequently be seen on his tractor. He was a tool and coin collector. Allen loved going out to breakfast but above all else he loved his family.</p> <p>Allen is survived by his children; Dennis (Leslie) Sutfin of Battle Creek, Jerry (Brenda) Sutfin of Battle Creek and Tammy (Jim) Hairgrove of Atlanta, Georgia, his grandchildren; Aaron (Krystinia) Hairgrove, Corrinna Sutfin, Dorrien Sutfin, Josh Sutfin, Erica Brandt and Leianne Burge; his great grandaughter; Brittany Jaques, his siblings; Albert Sutfin of Nashville, Michigan; Edna Sneed of Scottsdale, Arizona, Betty Harrison of Scottsdale, Arizona and Helen (Norm) Schwietzer of Kalamazoo.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Joyce; his son Steven Sutfin; his grandson; Zachary Sutfin and his brother; Alfred Sutfin.</p> <p>A graveside memorial service will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Morgan Cemetery in Battle Creek.</p> <p>Memorials are suggested to the Charity of one&#39;s choice.</p> <p>Arrangements were entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 2838 Capital Ave, SW Battle Creek, Michigan 49015.
