Larry Gene Sims was born May 8, 1958 in Kountze, TX and passed away October 24, 2021 in Silsbee, TX.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Patsy Hicks Sims and his brothers Wayne and Mark Sims.  Larry is survived by his wife Gayle Sims; children, Tammie Gore and husband Dale, Kevin Sims and wife Bliss, Brandi Scarborough and husband John, Brittani Olds and husband Al; his brother-in-law Chuck Gore and wife Kathy; sister Jan Newland and brothers William Bundrant Jr and Michael Kevin Sims. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Halea Fant and husband John, Hayden Gore and wife Ally, Bryson Scarborough and wife Alexis, Brayden Gore, Kyle Sims, Joseph, Jonas, Jase and Justice Olds and  great grandchildren Brentley, Kason and Kylea Fant.  Pallbearers will be John Scarborough, Al Olds, Bryson Scarborough, Hayden Gore, Kyle Sims and Brayden Gore.
