Judith "Judy" A. Bowen

Judith “Judy” A. Bowen, 67, of DeKalb, IL passed away on October 24, 2021. She was born in Chicago, IL on October 19, 1954. Judy graduated from Boylan High School in 1972. She married Mark Bowen on January 17, 1985. Judy worked as a secretary for the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department for over 10 years and at Contel-GTE for over 15 years. She loved playing Canasta, reading books, and her dogs; Cinnamon, Sadie, and Gracie. Judy will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Judy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Mark; her brother, Robert Knickerbocker; her sister, Kathleen Linden; her niece, Erin Linden; and her nephew, Sean Linden. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Barbara Knickerbocker and her brother, Richard Knickerbocker. There will be no services for Judy at this time. Cremation rights will be accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel. 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108.
