Cecilia (Ceal) Murphy was born in Madera, CA on February 21, 1950. The third child of five
siblings to the union of Cecil and Mildred Lee. Raised by her step-father George McCrady and
mother who all preceded her in death as well has her daughter Cynthia Murphy, and her sister
Lauret Lee.

Cecilia lived most of her life in Madera, CA as a small child she accepted Christ as her lord and
savior while attending Knox Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. Cecilia attended Madera High School
Graduating with the class of 1969. She loved to dance. She obtained her license in
Cosmetology, and had a well established business for many years.

Later she went to work for Oberti Olives for many years until it closed. She then moved to
Fresno, CA and went to work for Corn Nuts in Fresno, CA. Later she moved to Sacramento, CA
where she worked at Wal-Mart for several years. After some time she decided that she was
ready to retire, so she moved back to Fresno. She loved spending time going to the flea market,
garage sales, boxing matches, traveling out of the country, going on cruises, and working in her
yard tending to her plants. But Cecilia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren
most of all.

Cecilia leaves to cherish her memory, her 2 daughters Ericka Murphy, & Tanya Schneider both
of Fresno, CA. Her grandchildren Jamondrial Lewis, Erista Battle, James Battle Jr, Janayla
Battle, and Destinee Mc Lucas all of Fresno, CA. Her 3 brothers Milton Lee of Madera, Sidney
Lee of Fresno and Nathaniel Lee of Sacramento, 1 sister Marjanna Smith of Fresno and
great-grandchildren along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
