Frederick F. Fontaine of Carver, passed away at home with his loving wife by his side on October 22, 2021 at the age of eighty-three. He was the beloved husband of Diana (Wood) Fontaine; cherished father of Cheryl Terranova and her husband Joe of Halifax, Marjorie Coffey and her husband Joe of Rockland, Terri Politano and her husband Jim of Bridgewater and Florida, Frederick Fontaine III and his wife Michelle of Rehoboth; stepfather of Lisa Heroux and her husband Chris of Maine. He was the grandfather to many treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frederick was born on November 29, 1937 in Weymouth to Frederick and Evelyn (McPhee) Fontaine, Sr. He was a Maintenance Supervisor at the Foxboro Company for many years. He went on to work as a Press Repairman for New England Art in Abington until his retirement. Frederick was a long-standing member of the Upland Club in Plympton, where he enjoyed hunting and spending time at the club with his wife and fellow members. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Services were entrusted to the care of the Cartmell Life Celebration Funeral Home, Plymouth.
