Linda Marie Shaw
Linda Marie Shaw, 71, of Manchester passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. She was born November 4, 1949 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Martin and Marie Shaw. She is survived by her four children, Dawn Jarvis, Michael Jarvis, Crystal Mack-Blair and Richard Mack, her eight grandchildren Jessica Jarvis-Fowler, Darnell Roy, Justine Jarvis-Robinson, Jacquelyn Hutton, Jacob Blair, Zachary Blair, Landon Mack, and Charlotte Mack, three great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Raine, and Logan and her brother George Shaw. She was a graduate of Rockville High School - Class of 1968 and a retiree of Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company. She also worked at the All-American VFW Post 2046 and American Legion in Manchester for many years. She was a devoted Catholic and volunteered much of her time while an active member of The Women’s Army Auxiliary Corp. in Manchester. She enjoyed country and oldies music, reading, the ocean, lighthouses, the smell of fresh lilacs, sitting outside on her porch soaking in the sun, and spending time with family and friends. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St. Vernon, CT.
