Mr. Bennie Lee "Clyde" Hester Jr. Obituary

With heartfelt and sincere sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Bennie Lee "Clyde" Hester, Jr., who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 23, 2021. The Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm in The Thomson High School Parking Lot.  The Interment will follow in the Society Cemetery. The Viewing will begin on Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm at the funeral home and then on Sunday from 10:00 o'clock am to 12 noon. He leaves to cherish his precious memories; a loving and devoted wife, Elease Hester of Thomson, Georgia; daughter, Cheryl Jones of August, Georgia; grandchildren, Lakesia (Eric) Gooch and Billy Chatman; seven great grandchildren; Eric “EJ” Gooch, Jr., Eriel Gooch, Angel Dove, Heaven Dove, Brenden Greene, Jennesi Chatman & Bryson Brown; three sisters, Patsy Jones, Geraldine Hester & Antoinette Hester all of Thomson, Georgia; brother, Arthur King Sr., of Wahington, Georgia: five sisters in law; Lena (Gene) Jones, Pauline Webb & Linda Chubb all of Augusta, Georgia, Elizabeth Bell of Warrenton, Georgia and Susie Moton of Thomson, Georgia; eight brothers in law, Otis Jones, Sr., of West Palm Beach, Willie Clarence Crawford, Rev. Nathaniel (Sharon) Jones, Sr., of Thomson, Georgia, Daniel Crawford, Melvin Crawford, John Henry Crawford all of Augusta, Georgia, and Robert Jones and Ricky Jones both of Warrenton, Georgia; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special and friends. Please keep The Hester Family in your thoughts and prayers.
