William Alexander Grant Jr. 96 years old, passed away peacefully at his home in Las Vegas on October 21, 2021. William was born on October 4, 1925 to William A. Grant & Helen Grant in Pittsburgh PA.

William dropped out of High School & enlisted in the Army in 1943 and fought from Normandy to Berlin. He was wounded in the Battle of the Hurtgen Forest, receiving a Purple Heart. He also would be awarded a Bronze Star & the French Legion of Honor for his service.

After the war he finished High School and went on to Pitt University where he would receive a Bachelor of Arts and later his Master of Arts degree.

William proudly worked for the Social Security Administration from 1960 to 1993, working his way up to Division Manager, the highest position you could hold without approval from Congress.

He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Alexis Victoria Grant and his wife of 61 years, Camille Khalil Grant.

He is survived by his children Bill, Debbie, Cindy & Stacey. His Grandchildren Angela, Will & Madison, and his Great-Grandchildren Sage & Violet & Son-in-Law Norm Wenzl.

He will be buried at Restland Memorial Park Monroeville PA, alongside his Brother Richard Grant.
