Mary McCracken Pippin, 92, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was born March 31, 1929, to the late Isaac Harrison McCracken and Hessie Greer McCracken. Mrs. Pippin was a very loving and kind person, who never met a stranger. She had a great sense of humor and was a true example of a Proverbs 31 woman. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Shaw (Edward) and Pat Bowman; grandchildren, Pam Sheppard, Larry Bowman, and Lorie Bowman; great-grandchildren, Justin Sheppard, Carmen Sheppard; great-great-grandchildren, Maddi Sheppard, and Nella May Sheppard; sister, Gladys Hodgson (Karl); and special niece, Karleen Sullivan (Jeff). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert S. Pippin; great-grandson, Chris Sheppard; and four sisters and three brothers. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at other times the residence of daughter, Pat Bowman.
