<p><em><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">WALLINGFORD - Harold Boynton, 84, of Wallingford, departed this life with his family by his side, on Saturday October 23, 2021 at the Quinnipiac Valley Center in Wallingford after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn (Drozdz) Boynton of 57 years. Harold was born in Lincoln, ME on October 18, 1937 to the late Frederick and Lena (Carney) Boynton.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">He was a state side Air Force veteran during the Korean war working as a jet mechanic and was a member of the Wallingford Senior Center and benefited greatly from the Parkinson&#39;s exercise class. He loved his family very much along with his animals. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and neighbors. He retired from American Cyanamid as an electrician and prior to that he was owner of Hal Boynton&#39;s Gulf service station. Harold also enjoyed vacations and cruises with his wife Kathy, brother and sister-in-law Sylvia and Lee Belomizi and brother Fred and his wife Bobette Boynton. He loved working on his 1970 Chevelle and tinkering on other cars. He was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoyed watching UCONN women&#39;s basketball. His granddaughters convinced him to become a New England Patriot&#39;s fan. Hal was always there for his family when needed.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Besides his wife Kathryn, Harold is survived by his daughter Suzanne Adams and her husband Scott of Wallingford. A son, Tracy Boynton and his wife Emily of Maine. Grandchildren, Amanda Fieffer and husband Kevin, Shayna Adams, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and one brother Gilman Boynton of Wallingford. He was predeceased by three sons Harold, Rocky and Robin Boynton and two brothers Fred and Waldon Boynton. Hal&#39;s family would like to thank the staff at Quinnipiac Valley Center for the kindness that they gave to the entire family during his short stay. </span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">The family will receive visitors on Friday October 29, 2021 from 4 PM - 7PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home 273 S. Elm St. Wallingford. A&nbsp;prayer&nbsp;service will immediately follow at 7 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The B.C.
