Dale S. Souder, age 80, of Auburn passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Souder was born on June 23, 1941 in Yorktown, Indiana to Ralph “Stewart” and Kathrine (Saxer) Souder.  He graduated from Auburn High School. 

He married Diane M. Telgman on June 30, 1962 and she preceded him in death on May 24, 1996.    

Dale worked for International Harvester and then Navistar for 31 years retiring in 1994.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Auburn.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: 

Daughter; Shelly S. (Denise B.) Souder of Fort Wayne.

Daughter; Wendy M. Souder of Fort Wayne

Four grandchildren; Justin Parker, Lainey Parker, Ryan Slatter and Sadie Souder.

Three step grandchildren; Brandon Banks, Jordan (Grace) Bowden, and Taylor Bowden.

One step great grandson; Tryden Bowden.

Brother and sister-in-law; Donald and Sally Souder of St. Louis, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Diane Souder, and two brothers; Jack Souder and Joseph Souder.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.

A memorial service will immediately follow the gathering of friends and family on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home.

Burial will take place at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
