Anthony Burnett Robinson, affectionately known as “Boodie”, was born on January 19, 1969, in Darlington, South Carolina a son of William Robinson and Mae Vernie Robinson. He was the youngest of three children. He was called home by the Master of the heavens and earth to take his rest from this life on October 23, 2021, at McLeod Hospital in Florence, South Carolina. He was a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina for many years. Anthony met Rebecca in1988 in Texas and later married her on April 8, 1995. From this union three children were born; Precious Woodson, Breanna Robinson, and Christina Robinson. He was a 1987 graduate of St. John High School in Darlington, South Carolina. He was employed with Harris Teeter Distribution Center in Matthews, North Carolina for over 30 years where he was a dedicated and a great team player getting the job done. Anthony loved to watch football, spend time with family, laugh, and always have a smile that will light up a room. He was a loving and caring person, a devoted father, and always thought of others before himself. He was a blessing to many and was certainly loved and appreciated by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mae Vernie Robinson; two daughters, Precious Woodson, and Breanna Robinson as they rest together now in the Lord. Anthony Burnett Robinson leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife, Rebecca Robinson; his daughter, Christina Robinson; his father, William Robinson; a sister, Cheryl (Reverend William) Dubose; a brother, William Robinson Jr.; nieces, Madison Dubose, and Latrivia Robinson; a nephew, Darvia Dubose; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends as well.
