Cathy "Kat" Lynn Monroe

Cathy "Kat" Lynn Monroe, 57, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away at Clark Memorial Hospital on October 23,2021. She was born on April 6, 1964 to the late Clarice Prince-Martin. She graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 1982. She then attended college at St. Mary’s of the Woods. She married Darrell Monroe on September 4, 1987. She has three daughters; Sarah (Lee) Arbuckle of Leota, Indiana, Alisha (David) Sevy of Austin, Indiana, and Emily (Matthew) Corbett of Scottsburg, Indiana, and one son Alexander Monroe of Scottsburg, Indiana. She has two grandsons Reid Arbuckle and Parker Corbett. She worked at Motomart in Scottsburg, Indiana for 20 years where she inherited several "Moto Kids". She is preceded in death by by her mother; Clarice Prince-Martin, grandparents; Clarence Prince and Dorthy Hall-Prince, one uncle; Gerald Prince, and one grandson; Carter Matthew Corbett. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Online condolences can be made at www.collinsfuneralhome.net.
