<p>Nadine Irene Winterberger, age 94, left this earth to be with her Lord on October 21, 2021, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.&nbsp; She was born on July 18, 1927, in Miamisburg, Ohio to Charles and Amanda Brookey.&nbsp;</p> <p>Nadine graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1945 and married Walter Winterberger on June 3, 1950.&nbsp; They moved to Shalimar, Florida in 1968 with their children John and Robert where she resided until her death.</p> <p>Nadine was a member of the Shalimar United Methodist Church and was actively involved for many years in the Emily Roberts Circle, the Craft Circle, and was a founding member of the Friendship Club.&nbsp; She also was a member of the Garnier&rsquo;s Beach Garden Club and served as its president for several years. &nbsp;&nbsp;She loved her church and her faith was a great support to her throughout her life.</p> <p>Nadine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. &nbsp;&nbsp;She supported her family in every endeavor.&nbsp; She will be dearly missed.&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her sons John Winterberger, (Mei Ying) Robert (Susan); grandchildren Brian Dewey, Diana Butler (Dennis), Lisa Young&nbsp; (Sean), Justin Dockery (Danielle), Jacob Dockery (Yukari), Sara Winterberger; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister Aunda Schechter; nephews Keith Taylor, Buddy Taylor, and Charles Napier; &nbsp;nieces Velena Taylor, Susan Taylor, Martha Schechter, and Christine Schechter. &nbsp;&nbsp;She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Amanda Brookey, husband Walter Winterberger, and her sister, Charlotte Taylor.&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services will be Thursday, October 28th at 2 pm at the Shalimar United Methodist Church with visitation an hour prior. Interment at Beal Memorial Cemetery&nbsp;will follow the funeral service.&nbsp;Expressions of love and sympathy may be viewed or submitted online at www.mclaughlinmortuary.com</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shalimar United Methodist Church in memory of Nadine Winterberger.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

Nadine Irene Winterberger, age 94, left this earth to be with her Lord on October 21, 2021, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  She was born on July 18, 1927, in Miamisburg, Ohio to Charles and Amanda Brookey. 

Nadine graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1945 and married Walter Winterberger on June 3, 1950.  They moved to Shalimar, Florida in 1968 with their children John and Robert where she resided until her death.

Nadine was a member of the Shalimar United Methodist Church and was actively involved for many years in the Emily Roberts Circle, the Craft Circle, and was a founding member of the Friendship Club.  She also was a member of the Garnier’s Beach Garden Club and served as its president for several years.   She loved her church and her faith was a great support to her throughout her life.
