John Friesen passed away October 18, 2021 at the age of 87.  He was born April 16, 1934 on the family farm near Rosenhoff, Saskatchewan to Jacob and Eva Friesen.  He was the second oldest of 12 children. John ran a very successful business for more than 50 years doing what he enjoyed most designing and building things for his many clients and friends.  His work ethic and dedication to his business was second to none.  John had an incredible talent to be able to visualize something in his mind and then build it.  If he didn’t have a tool to make a part he would build the tool and it would usually be better than what you could buy. John leaves behind his wife of over 65 years, Anne and their 4 children:  Dwaine (Sandy), Dawn, Brian (Shelley) and Brant (Glenda) as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Elim Church 419 Slimmon Road Saskatoon.  The service will also be available virtually at https://youtu.be/ldwJP-lHOko
