Rhonda Jones Burnett, 53, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her home.  Born in Rutherford County, she is the daughter of Carole Roper Jones of Forest City and the late Jake Jones.  Rhonda was a graduate of East Rutherford High School and worked with her husband at their business, Tri-City Tire in Forest City.  She was a member of West Point Baptist Church and enjoyed shopping and traveling.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Darrill Burnett of the home; her son, Nicholas Wall; daughters, Melissa Wall and Madison Wall; her sister, Cathy Melton; and a granddaughter, Stella Spain.  In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Greg Jones.

Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock Sunday in the Padgett & King Chapel with Rev. Chad Sisk, Rev. Stephen Johnson, and Rev. Mike Roberts officiating.  Interment will follow in the Grassy Knob Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from five until seven o’clock at Padgett & King.
