Carol L. Murray of Georgetown passed away on October 20, 2021, at Tidal Health in Salisbury, Md. Carol was the daughter of Noah J. and Georgia (Daisey) Collins. Carol was the cafeteria manager of Sussex Central Junior High School when she retired in 2001. Her hobbies included going to the beach, shopping, and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Murray, 4 brothers, Carmel, Floyd, Robert, and Paul Collins and 2 sisters, Darlene Collins, and Elsie Boyce. She is survived by her children Kelly Willing (Steve) and Shelly Wilson (Eddie); 1 sister, Betty Rust, 2 brothers, Donald, and Gerald Collins; 4 grandchildren, Jessica (Brian), Mindy, Seth, and Shane (Kiana); and 3 great grandchildren, Kenzie, Kamie and Luke and one on the way, Savannah; her fiance', Gordy Swift; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 12:30 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, and friends can visit after 10:30 am.
