Elaine Joy (Buys) Muller, age 65, of Boone, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her home. Elaine was born on December 1, 1955 in Pipestone, MN, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Kaemingk) Buys. She was raised in Edgerton, MN and near Denver, CO. She graduated from Denver Christian High in 1973. Elaine adored her two sons and cherished her grandchildren and great grand dogs. With raising two boys she missed out of shopping like little girls love to do, but Elaine made up for it with her granddaughter! She enjoyed collecting recipes and baking treats for her family, sewing and doing various crafts. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Lavonne “Vonnie”. She is survived by her sons, Rich (Jolene) Muller of Boone and Michael Muller of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Dominick (Stefanie) and Maggy Jo; sister, Myra and brothers, Ken, Roger, Duane, Doug and Wendell. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets.
