JoAnn Kane, age 64 of Long Beach, passed away on October 18, 2021 in Gulfport.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Burress.

She is survived by her father, Freeman Dennis Burress; her daughter, Jessica Abbott; her son, Barry Blancq (Sally); her siblings, Norma Young, Dennis Burress, Denise Turner, and Bobby Burress; her grandchildren, Kelsie Wright, Megan Abbott, Amelia Blancq, Freeman Blancq, Smith Blancq, and Luke Blancq; and her great grandchild, Ava Trehern.

JoAnn was a native of Memphis, TN and made Long Beach her home. She enjoyed gardening and was such a music enthusiast, especially the Blues!

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
