Charles A. "Buddy" Daigle

<p>Charles A. &ldquo;Buddy&rdquo; Daigle, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 18th, 2021, at his daughter&rsquo;s home in Port Arthur, TX.</p> <p>He served our country in the United States Navy and retired from Dixie Electric Company.</p> <p>&nbsp;He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Rogers and husband, Dwayne, and Wendy Clifford and husband Sean L.; grandchildren, Derek Rogers and wife, Heather, Lacie Bezet and husband, Seth; Sean A. Clifford, Zachary Clifford, and Aaron Clifford, two great-grandchildren, Haley and Dane Rogers; sister, Carolyn McMorris and husband, John, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.</p> <p>Preceded in death by his wife, Frances Carolyn Daigle, parents, Charles Silvere Daigle and Lillie McKnight Daigle, sister, Daisy LeBlanc, brother-in-law, Carlton Blackie LeBlanc, two nephews, Carlton LeBlanc and Craig LeBlanc.</p> <p>Pallbearers will be Sean L. Clifford, Zachary Clifford, Sean A. Clifford, Seth Bezet, Dwayne Rogers, and Derek Rogers, and honorary pallbearers, Aaron Clifford and Dane Rogers.</p> <p>Visitation will be Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory.</p> <p>Our family would like to express our gratefulness to the Heart of Hospice, Baton Rouge and Jessica Dunaway and Altus Hospice, Beaumont, TX and Kami Morvant for all their wonderful care for Mr. Daigle.</p> <p>Please visit the online guestbook at www.ascensionfuneral.com.</p>
