Sotira Petridis, 83, passed away peacefully at home in Redding, CT, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in 1938 in Spilia (Kozani), Greece, to the late Savvas and Despina Kiriakides. She married her beloved husband Konstantinos in 1956 (predeceased), and they emigrated to the United States and settled in Norwalk, CT. Sotira’s love of faith and family included her involvement in the Norwalk St. George Greek Orthodox community and she also worked for many years at Norwalk Hospital. The youngest of four children, Sotira is also predeceased by her siblings, Anastasios, Eleni, and Athina. A cherished aunt, she is survived by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly. Services will be held on Saturday, October, 23rd at 9 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Norwalk, CT.
