Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley for Lionel Trahan, 54, who died at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Iota, LA. Rev. Jimmy Broussard will officiate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the Abshire Cemetery. Visitation may be observed Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Lionel was born October 1, 1967 in Lafayette, LA. He worked for Abshire roofing for 25 plus years. He enjoyed fishing and watching football on Sundays. He was a simple man and lived a simple life. Lionel is survived by his 3 brothers, Lester Trahan of Georgia, Earl Trahan of Crowley and Holand Trahan of Sulphur; 3 sisters Lena Pulumbo of Crowley, Sharlene Sittig of Lake Charles and Theresa Quebodeaux of Iota and several nieces and nephews.
