<p>Linda Mary Morse, 68, of Middlesex, VT passed away on October 11, 2021 at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, VT. </p><p><br></p><p>Linda was born in Taunton, MA to Joseph and Hilda Danaher on January 11, 1953. She attended elementary school in Montpelier, VT and graduated from Rice High School in South Burlington VT. After attending UVM she went on to obtain a Masters of Education degree from St. Michael's College in Colchester, VT. </p><p><br></p><p>Linda worked at Casa Romano Restaurant in Malletts Bay, which is where she met Howard Morse. Linda and Howard were married on July 23, 1988. Linda also worked at Hazelett Strip Casting in Malletts Bay, spent two years as a 4-6th grade teacher at Milton Elementary School, and worked at Johnson State College for eight years as a Non-traditional Student Support Services Coordinator. In October of 2000, Linda and Howard built a home in Middlesex, VT. Linda went on to take a job with the State of Vermont as an administrator in the Department of Finance and Management, where she worked until her retirement in 2018. </p><p><br></p><p>Linda is survived by her husband Howard, her three sons Doran (Elaine) Metzger, Aaron (Tara Weeger) Metzger, and Gabrial (Jen) Metzger, as well as her sister Catherine Brousseau, and brothers Joseph (Mel) Danaher and David Danaher. Linda also leaves behind her four beloved grandchildren Collin, Cameron, Aaliyah and Finn who she loved very dearly. Linda was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Hilda Danaher, as well as her brother Robert Danaher.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Linda’s memory to VNAs of Vermont or the American Cancer Society. Calling hours will be held for Linda at LaVigne Funeral Home in Winooski, VT on October 29, from 4:00-7:00pm. Masks are required in the Funeral Home. A private mass and burial at the Middlesex Cemetery will be held at a later date.</p>
