Dateline-Exeter, NH Peggy Williams, 81, of Exeter, NH, died peacefully on October 18, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Margaret “Peggy” Casey, to her parents, Daniel J. Casey and Bernice (Walsh) Casey, of Bradford, MA, the founders of the DJ Casey Paper Co. in Haverhill. She resided most of her adult life in New Hampshire. She was a 1957 graduate of Haverhill HS and attended Boston University and Emerson College. Peggy was employed and retired as a Collections Agent in Portsmouth. Peggy spent her childhood and early adult summers at North Hampton Beach, where her family owned a home. She always recalled many fond memories there with her mother, father and grandmother. She continued to spend summers oceanside throughout her life. She was an accomplished pianist and played since age 6. She loved to play as well as compose her own music that she shared with her family, friends and church. She was an active congregant at St. Michael Church in Exeter, where she attended faithfully and met many loving friends. She was a devout mother to her five children who love and miss her very much. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel J. Bell and grandson Jason and is survived by her daughters, Angela Mast and husband Richard, of Sycamore, Illinois, Karin Merrill of Raymond, NH, sons Ken Welch and fiancé Melissa of Exeter, NH and Tim Williams and wife Ali of Chadds Ford, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Maura, Cassandra, Rebecca, Brendan, Matthew, Kenny, Corey, Jessica, Aubrey, Sebastian and Nicolas and many great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring her life will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, 10:00 AM at St. Michael Church, 9 Lincoln St., Exeter, NH. Burial will immediately follow at St. James Cemetery, Primrose St., Haverhill, MA.
