LYSYSHYN, Katarina

October 6, 1929 to October 15, 2021

We would like to announce the passing of Katarina Lysyshyn of Saskatoon, formerly of Fosston, Saskatchewan, peacefully and quietly at Saskatoon City Hospital.  Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Nycholat, husband Peter and siblings Mike Nycholat and Mary Larson.  She is survived by her children Nadia (George), Joan (Ron), Judy (Guy), Don, Jacqueline (Trevor) and ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Katarina loved her grandchildren and was always willing to care for them at any time. Katarina was passionate about farming, loved violin music, baking and a full fridge was very important to her.  She enjoyed company and always served coffee and fresh baked goods.  Katarina’s cremated remains will be interred beside her husband at the BBA Church Cemetery in Fosston Saskatchewan at a later date.  A private family memorial will be held on Friday October 22, 2021.  Livestream of the service is available By Clicking Here Arrangements in care of Travis Minor-Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
