STEWART, Brenda Leah It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Brenda Leah Stewart. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 17th, 2021 in hospital, surrounded by family. Mom was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia on November 17th, 1950. She is predeceased by her loving parents Elmore and Joyce Ward. She is survived by her three children: Melissa (Neil) Gelowitz, Briana Stewart, Justin (Kristy) Stewart, as well as her two grandchildren Carsen and Ryland Gelowitz. In her career, Brenda worked as a teacher with School District 23 for 30+ years. Upon retiring in Kelowna, she found a love for traveling and cruises and enjoying quality time with her family, friends, and her beloved dog Misha. At mom’s request, the immediate family will be gathering to celebrate her life. In loving memory of our dear mother ~ Melissa, Briana and Justin.
