Veronica Martinez Obituary

On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in the city of San Antonio, Miss Verónica Martinez entered her eternal rest and entered the kingdom of heaven at the age of 28.

Veronica was an angel here on earth to all those who came to know her. Her humble, amicable, and big heart filled with joy and light any person, place, and event where she came to be. A big part of her life was spending time with those she loved, the most important, her family. In addition to her family, Verónica had a passion for music and dance; she loved to dance and sing whenever she was given the opportunity. Now, we give her back to our good and gracious Lord, where we know she is enjoying that eternal paradise, from where she now looks at us and cares for us.  We will forever miss her, but hold her memory in our hearts all our earthly lives.

She now joins her grandparents in heaven: Maria and Andrés Cortez, and Teresa Escobedo.

Veronica’s memory will forever be remembered by her loving parents: Juan and Rosa Martínez; siblings: Juan Martínez, Jr. and Luis Enrique Martínez: paternal grandparents: Antonio Martínez; as well as by a great number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other beloved relatives and friends.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses and staff at University Hospital in San Antonio, for their care, attention and love to our beloved Veronica.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
