Blacksburg -- Sydney Marie Harvey, 18, of 712 West Cherokee Street, passed away Monday, October 18th, 2021, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Fort Bragg, she was the daughter of Christopher Leon Harvey and Charity Teague Reynolds. Ms. Harvey worked as a cashier. She loved the outdoors and animals. Sydney’s life was her friends and siblings and she was the glue that held it all together. She loved animals. She loved shopping and picking on her friends to make them laugh. She had friends everywhere. Her best friends were her sister, brother, and cousins. In addition to her mother and father, Ms. Harvey is survived by her sisters, Alexis Jade Torres (Vincent), Brooke Olivia Reynolds, and Abigail Lee Harvey; her brother, Andrew Archer, her step-father, Graham Reynolds; her step-mother, Tania Kay Harvey; paternal grandparents, Leonard C. Harvey and Aleita Harmon; maternal grandparents, Terry and Susan Teague; and great-grandmother, Frances Jones She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Teresa Jones and her brother, Jonathon Harvey. Funeral services will be held on October 23, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. The family will be at the residence.
