Peter R. Richard, age 74, of Danvers, died peacefully on Tuesday in a local nursing home. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Pierre Richard and Jeanette (Guy) (Richard) Jordan. He was a graduate of Salem High School.
Peter had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a bartender for many years at the Yankee in Peabody as well as the Blue Moon in Lynn. A ladies man, he loved playing and watching sports, the drum core, shopping, and going out to eat.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Holcomb of Dracut; his son, Dr. Jonathan Roberson of Arkansas; his grandchildren; Katie Richard and Christian Holcomb, his great-grandchildren; Dylan Richard-George and Raevyn Ramos-Marion; his sister, Leah Martin of Salem, his brother, David Richard of Danvers, as well as his cat, Doobie.
