Unexpectedly entered into rest at his home in Brockville on Friday October 15, 2021. Joe Johnston of Brockville aged 61 years. Husband of the late Johanna (Blair) Johnston. Dear son of the late Louis and Josephine (Walker) Johnston. Cherished brother of Marcella Brown (Paul) of Escott, Edith Johnston of Brockville, Louis Johnston (Dawn) of Mallorytown, James Johnston (Emily Quinn) of Gananoque, Joeann Morrison (Sandy) of Cardinal and the late Mary Gregory and Susan Khant. Also missed by many nieces and nephews but predeceased by nephew James Gregory. As per Joe’s request there will be a private family graveside service. In memory of Joe, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville.
