David "Dave" Weinrich, Age 59, passed away peacefully at his home on October 12, 2021. He was born on July 15, 1962 to Philip and Glenda Weinrich in Alamogordo, NM. Dave graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1980. 

Dave spent his life working in civil service at Holloman AFB and White Sand Missile Range which he retired from in 2017. He was an amazing painter and quite the handyman who also enjoyed playing his guitar. 

Dave is survived by his daughter, Amanda Hurt "Weinrich" of Tucson, AZ along with his two grandsons that meant the world to him, Jonathan Hurt (7) and Connor Hurt (2), as well as their cat Lucy which he loved very much. He also survived by his sister, Pamela and her husband Roy Maye and family of Alamogordo, NM and his brother, Michael and Debbie Weinrich and family of Coltons Point, Maryland.

He is preceded in death by both parents, Philip and Glenda Weinrich. 

"Dad your wings were ready but my heart was not."

May Dave rest in peace; Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Son. You will forever be loved and missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Oregon Park south of Kid's Kingdom in the grass area.

The Weinrich family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
