Michael Ivan Chamberlin (also known as Bear) was born March 23, 1982 to TC and Susan Chamberlin in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was a loving child and became a very caring, charming, and humorous adult. He said he got his gift of gab from his grandmother, whom he took care of in her last years. He passed on Sunday, October 17, 2021 in his home in Flagstaff Arizona at the age of 39. He and his mother visited family and friends in Oklahoma the preceding week.

Michael graduated from Perkins-Tryon High School in 2000 after attending Perkins Schools for 12 years. He played baseball, soccer, wrestling, golf, track, and football. He attended Oklahoma State University and Coconino Community College. He enjoyed playing guitar, golfing, inventing, star-gazing, and competing with his brother and nephews in disc golf.  He went on many trips and hiking adventures with girlfriend Ashley and mother. Michael was baptized in Sunnybrook Christian Church. He adored his nieces and nephews, and his 19-year-old dog Capone. He was proud of his Chickasaw heritage and was also Northern Arapaho.
