LANCE AARON KNIGHT COX FUNERAL HOME BASTROP, LOUISIANA MONROE, LA. Lance Aaron Knight was born November 5, 1982 at Monroe, Louisiana to Phyllis Eubanks Knight and Gary Glenn Knight. Lance passed from this life into eternal life, and the embrace of his Lord and Saviour, on October 18, 2021 at Monroe, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Knight; his grandparents, Elsie and Ralph Knight and Dot and Billy Eubanks; and uncle, Johnny Knight. Lance was a member of the Lakeshore Baptist Church, where he was baptized December 27, 2020, following his profession of faith. He was also a boilermaker, member of Boilermaker's Union #7, and an avid fan of the LSU Tigers. Lance was known as an excellent cook and master of the grill. He also was a skilled landscaper and took great pride and enjoyment working in his yard and tending his flower gardens. Above all, Lance was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. His legacy and greatest joy was his family and being a loving Daddy to his girls. Lance is survived by his wife and soul mate of over 17 years, Terri Knight; his beloved daughters, Brianna Knight and Ella Knight; his mother, Phyllis Burt and her husband, Charles; sister, Chasity Messinger and her husband, Jeff; and brother, Matthew Knight. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Samuel Gilbert, Katlyn Knight, Kaleb Knight, Kasey Knight, Landyn DeVille, Nolyn DeVille, Bailey Bizeau, and Jaiden Bizeau; numerous aunts, uncles, and host of extended family. Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Lance Aaron Knight will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop with Bro. Harry Lilly officiating.
