<p>NAUGATUCK- John Andrew O&rsquo;Toole, 82, of Naugatuck, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven. He was the widower of Rosemary (Ciampi) O&rsquo;Toole.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>John was born in Waterbury December 5th, 1938, son of the late Andrew and Rosemary (Dineen) O&rsquo;Toole. He was a graduate of St. Francis School, Naugatuck High School class of 1956, and Bentley College in Boston class of 1959. He served three years in the United States Army, &nbsp;finance corps.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>John retired as vice president of Danco Inc. in Waterbury after more than 35 years of service. He was a parishioner of &nbsp;St. Francis of Assisi Church and a member of the Naugatuck Elks Club , American Legion and the Knights of Columbus.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He and Rosemary celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2015. They enjoyed traveling, especially spending time in Cape Cod. They also performed for many years in the Kollege Capers to the delight of the audience.</p> <p>.</p> <p>John was the quintessential Irishman. His kindness, generosity, outgoing personality , wit and joke telling will always be remembered as the essence of John.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>John leaves his brother&nbsp;and sister in law Andrew and Claire O&rsquo;Toole of Canton, Massachusetts; sister and brother in law Mary Beth and Ken Hanks and brother James&nbsp;O&rsquo;Toole of Naugatuck; many nieces , nephews and cousins, as well as numerous close friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>ARRANGEMENTS - Funeral will leave the Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street Naugatuck Saturday at 9:15 A.M. for St. Francis of Assisi&nbsp;Church in Naugatuck for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00. .Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. NAUGATUCK- John Andrew O’Toole, 82, of Naugatuck, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven. He was the widower of Rosemary (Ciampi) O’Toole.

 

John was born in Waterbury December 5th, 1938, son of the late Andrew and Rosemary (Dineen) O’Toole. He was a graduate of St. Francis School, Naugatuck High School class of 1956, and Bentley College in Boston class of 1959. He served three years in the United States Army,  finance corps. 

 

John retired as vice president of Danco Inc. in Waterbury after more than 35 years of service. He was a parishioner of  St. Francis of Assisi Church and a member of the Naugatuck Elks Club , American Legion and the Knights of Columbus.

 

He and Rosemary celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2015. They enjoyed traveling, especially spending time in Cape Cod. They also performed for many years in the Kollege Capers to the delight of the audience.
