Holcomb Eugene C. Nowak Jr., age 77, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at his home in Holcomb, Kansas. He was born on October 2, 1944, in Brownwood, Texas, the son of Gene & Linda Kuhn Nowak Sr. A resident of Finney County, Kansas since 1967 moving from Ellinwood, Kansas, he was a retired Oil Field Pumper and Meter Man. He was a past member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas. On August 21, 1965, he married Pamela Sue Wornkey in Great Bend, Kansas. She survives. Survivors include his Wife - Pamela Sue Nowak of Holcomb, Kansas, One Son - Todd & Paula Nowak of Holcomb, Kansas, Three Daughters - Sonja & Shannon Welch of Garden City, Kansas, Sandra Baldridge & Chris Rose of Holcomb, Kansas, Eve Nowak of Garden City, Kansas, Two Brothers - Randy & Sharon Nowak of Zenda, Kansas, Gary Nowak of Zenda, Kansas, One Sister - Kim & Dave Bales of Lebo, Kansas, One Son In Law - James Baldridge of Holcomb, Kansas, One Sister In Law - Elaine Nowak of Lawton, Oklahoma, Fifteen Grandchildren, and Twenty Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and One Brother. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main, Garden City, Kansas with Father Louis Trung Dinh Hoang. Memorials can be made to the Eugene Nowak Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main, Garden City, Kansas, 67871. Inurnment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas will be at a later date. There will be no calling times.
