Martha E. Danner, 81, of Harrisburg, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at The Gardens of West Shore. Born on May 13, 1940 in Harrisburg, PA to the late John R. Danner, Sr. and Verna M. (Leisey) Danner. She was a member of Harrisburg First Assembly of God, and was a volunteer at the St. Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing BINGO and coloring. Surviving is her son, James Danner of Bainbridge, 2 sisters, Emma Mae Peters of Manchester, Ruth Ann Thompson of Harrisburg, a brother, John R. Danner, Jr. of Manchester, 5 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 in the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Burial will be in Shoop’s Cemetery, Harrisburg. Viewing will be from 10:30 A.M until 11:00 A.M. on Thursday in the funeral home.
