Robert Alan Young

Robert Alan "Rob" Young, 55, of Masontown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at WVU Medicine - JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born January 18th, 1966 in Mt. Lebanon, PA, Rob was a son of Charles and Patricia Miller Young of Morgantown.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Mila Leslie Young; three children, Alaina "Aly" Moore and husband Charles of Uniontown, Joshua Young of Morgantown, and Jason Young at home; two grandchildren that he adored Felicity and Lydia Moore; a sister Randi Massett and her husband Brendan of Hilton Head, SC; his mother-in-law Karen Tamino of Pittsburgh, PA; and his brother-in-law and sister in-law Joseph Tamino and his wife Lisa of Harrison City, PA; as well as his niece and three nephews.

Rob grew-up in the Pittsburgh area and graduated from Peters Township High School and Penn State University, majoring in Marketing. He worked for his family's RV dealership, Irwin RV in Irwin, PA for more than 25 years. Following that, he became the Show Producer for the Pittsburgh RV Show for more than 10 years. He was also a realtor for Howard Hanna, and was a drummer for a big part of his life.

He was a former race car driver, lover of motor sports, a boat captain and loved being on the water. He enjoyed being outdoors on his 10 acres of woods. He loved classic cars and going to car shows, and was always up for Sunday drive.

He was a doting and loving husband, father and new grandfather who dearly loved his family.

In keeping with his request, following a private family visitation, Rob will cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
