Lisa York Juarez, 46, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Born April 14, 1975, in Calhoun City, she was the daughter of Linda York Dye and the late James Curtis Rimmer. Lisa attended Calhoun City High School, and was a member of Bentley Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and truly a good person with a heart of gold. She was very friendly and never met a stranger, and was an angel in the eyes of all of her loved ones. She loved her roses and animals of all kinds. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. She will be remembered by all and forgotten by none, and her memory will be cherished forever in their hearts. Pryor Funeral Home is honored to serve Lisa’s family. A Graveside Service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 2:00pm at Bethlehem Cemetery in Bentley. There will also be a visitation on Sunday from 1:30pm until service time at the cemetery. Bro. Jim Vance will be officiating, with interment to follow. She leaves behind her fiancé, Shawn Varges; mother, Linda Dye of Woodland, MS; daughter, Britney Juarez of Derma; sons, Michael Earl Bumgart and Tony Juarez, both of Derma; brother, David Cooper of Derma; sister, Kim Reyes of Pontotoc; and niece, Sierra Reyes of Pontotoc. She was preceded in death by her father, James Rimmer; grandparents, Ellie May and Hayward York; and nephew, Rudy Rodriguez, Jr. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at pryorfuneralhome.com.
