Kenneth Wayne Webster Obituary

Kenneth Wayne Webster (Ken), age 74, of Middleburg, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on July 24, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a hard-working, self-employed plumbing contractor for the past 40+ years. He loved his country and was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Ken loved the Lord and accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 29 years old. He and his wife Audrey raised their girls to know the truth of God’s Word and to place their faith in Him. He continued to share Christ with his grandchildren and extended family and friends. His love for his family and friends was evident in every detail of his life. He would do anything for anyone at a moments notice. He never met a stranger and he was a giver, a true friend and an amazing, devoted husband, father, Papa, son, brother and uncle. If you knew Ken, you would know how much his little poodle girls, Honey and Sweetie, meant to him, as well as all his little yorkie babies, Billy, Roger, Gracie, Jolene, Sophie, Kayla, Morgan and Molly. He was a kid at heart and loved to watch cartoons with his grandkids. SpongeBob and Ratatouille were his favorites. He was preceded in death by his first love, his wife of 43 years and mother of his children, Audrey Lucas Webster, his mother Jacqueline Sanders Waldrep, his father Thomas Waldrep, and brother Robert Waldrep. He is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Linda Worthington Webster of Middleburg, FL. His daughters Melissa Cochran (Stephen), Sherry Johnson (Keith) and Tracy Fuller (Nick). His bonus children, Donna Worthington Bickhart, Kathy Wroubel (Rick) and Ryan Worthington (Jodie). His grandchildren, Joshua Cochran (Mel), Ridge Odom, Nicholas Cochran, Bailey Dunn (Josh), Emily Cochran, Luke Mason & Caleb Mason. His bonus grandchildren, Christy Honsberger (Billy), Gage Ponder, Kelsie Ponder (Justin), Tayler Worthington and Payten Worthington. His great grandchildren, Jace & Jasmine Dunn and Maisyn Padgett. His sister, Deborah Goff, and many cherished extended family members and friends. Ken will be deeply missed by his family and everyone who knew him. Even up to his final days Ken was telling his nurses and doctors about Jesus and how great and loving our Heavenly Father is to us. That would be the message he would want to leave with us all. “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” John 5:24
