Wayne Travis Willoughby, age 66, of Cumming, GA passed away October 17, 2021. Wayne retired from Fulton County Board of Education. Wayne loved the Lord serving as a deacon, church clerk and assistant song leader. He loved listening to gospel music, spending time with family and friends and especially Papas babies. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Willoughby, mother, Elizabeth Bell, & sister, Elaine Zent. He survived by his loving wife Joan Willoughby of 47 years, daughters & sons-in-law, Penny & Robbie Major, Paige & Nathan Monroe, son, Perry Willoughby, grandchildren, Dawson Hoopaugh, Carson Hoopaugh, Rebekah Monroe, Aaron Monroe, Ruthie Monroe, Andrew Monroe brothers and sisters Steve Willoughby (Cindy)Ann Strader, Bart Willoughby, Jane Nation (David), Timmy Willoughby, Travis Willoughby (Brittany), a host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday October 20, 2021 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Jackey Mooney, Rev. and Nathan Monroe officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
