Thomas "Tom" D. Holt

It is with great sadness that the family of Tom Holt announce his passing on Monday, October 18, 2021. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m Friday, October 22, 2021 at Hillsdale Presbyterian Church, 22875 W. 255th St. Hillsdale, Kansas. There will be a gathering of family and friends Thursday, October 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the church. Burial at Spring Hill Cemetery, Spring Hill, Kansas. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com Tom was born on October 26, 1943 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Thomas M. and Mary C. (Johnson) Holt. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and was a 1961 graduate of Turner High School. After graduation, he spent most of his working years as a dental technician, owning his own dental lab. For the past 40 years, Spring Hill, Kansas has been his home. In 1989, he married Claudette Newton and together they successfully blended their families. He was an avid golfer and loved to spend time golfing with his brother, Steve, and many friends. He loved people, was truly a friend to all, and dearly loved his family. He knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior and enjoyed being a member of Hillsdale Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kay, and his nephew, Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife, Claudette, his brother, Steve Holt of Olathe, Kansas, his brother, Jim Holt and his wife Dona of St. George, Utah, his daughter, Kelly Dicks, and her husband, Bill of Gassville, Arkansas, his daughter Debbie Lowery, and her husband, Brent, of Spring Hill, Kansas, his step-daughter, Joy Rose and her husband, Dean, of Spring Hill, Kansas and his step-son, Ray Newton and his wife Paula, of Spring Hill, Kansas, 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
