CHEREDAR, Mike (1926-2021)

Passed away peacefully at Linhaven Home on Sunday October 17, 2021 in his 96th year. Born in Thorold South to James and Mary Cheredar. Mike was the beloved husband of Phyllis (2003) for 55 years and loving father of Dennis (Laurie). Mike grew up in the area attending school and being part of the Ukrainian dance group. He played several music instruments and was a proud member of the Thorold South Volunteer Firemen Marching Band. He spent 44 years working at Thompson Products, starting on the line at 16 years of age and retiring as Superintendent of Manufacturing Services. During that time he was involved with a variety of volunteer committees and active in the sports programs at TRW. In retirement Mike continued to be active in the community and was a member of the city cribbage league for over 50 years. In honoring Mike’s wishes a private family graveside service will be held.
