<p>Bobby Elton Turner, 83, of Russellville, AR, formerly of Waldron, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at St. Mary&#39;s Regional Medical Center in Russellville.&nbsp; The son of Riley Turner and Mildred Faye Sims, he was born June 17, 1938 in Childerss, TX.&nbsp; He was a retired sales associate for JCPenny with a career spanning 30 years.&nbsp; In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball and was a talented pitcher on scholarship&nbsp;until suffering a shoulder injury. This didn&rsquo;t stop his lifelong enjoyment of sports which led him to coach little league baseball.&nbsp; In his later years, he was a member of the Russellville Senior Citizen Center where he loved ballroom dancing.&nbsp;&nbsp;When not at work or on holiday with family,&nbsp;Bobby and his faithful lapdog, Taco, enjoyed watching sports and calling the Hogs.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, Elaine Rister, Edelvis Hutchings, James Turner, Vernon Turner, and Don Turner.</p> <p>Survivors include his four sons, Joe Turner and wife, Pam of Russellville, Jim Turner and wife, Tyann of Waldron, Jay Turner of Bella Vista, and Jacob Turner and wife, Nicole of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.</p> <p>Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Chris Bradley will officiate.</p>
