HEIGHTON – C. Irene (nee MacDonald) Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday October 17, 2021, at the age of 93 years. Loving wife of the late “Ferg” Heighton. Much loved mother of Deborah Lawr (Bernie). Beloved grandmother of Nathan Lawr (Heather) and Shannon Lawr (Jennifer). Great grandmother of Elise, Morgan, Hazel and Hugo. Irene is predeceased by her parents Crandall and Lily May MacDonald, brothers George and Crandall and by sister Helen Marchington. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and she will return “home” to Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road Brantford.
