Ella Sanford

Ella Sanford, 60, of Richland Center, died Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was born on October 12, 1961, in Racine the daughter of Wendell and Dorothy (Stockman) Paasch. Ella graduated from Richland Center High School in 1979. On May 23, 1981, she was united in marriage to Fritz Sanford and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2006. Ella enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, music, dancing, and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all children who came into her life. Ella is survived by her partner Dennis Ekleberry of Muscoda; brothers and sisters: Laura Clausen of Kansasville, WI, Wesley (Tanya) Paasch of Hillsboro, Alvin Paasch of Richland Center, Russell Paasch of Richland Center, Paul (Deborah) Paasch of Richland Center; Dennis’s children: Philip Ekleberry of Richland Center, Laura (Robert) Bermudo of Spring Green, Sue (Perry) Miller of Richland Center, Emily (Jimmy) Smith of Wisconsin Dells, Marshall Ekleberry of Mazomanie; 8 grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews; Many great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Ella was preceded in death by her parents Wendell and Dorothy Paasch, husband Fritz, nephew Ernie Clausen, and brother-in-law Herb Clausen. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will be held at the Fancy Creek Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM. The family suggests memorials in Ella’s name be directed to Richland Center GRACE or Smiles for a Child. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
