It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sharon Ida Sears of Coal Creek, NB on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Sharon was born in Chipman on April 23, 1944 daughter of the late Walter (Evelyn Clark) Targett. Sharon will be forever loved and missed by her husband Carl and their two sons, Bradley (Paula) and Scott (Jennifer); sisters, Myrna Leger of Minto, Irene (Bill) Morrison of Rothesay and Shelley (Steven) LeBlanc of Sparwood, BC; grandchildren, Jillian, Megan, Ashley, Cole and Justin; great grandson Jacob; sisters-in-law, Judy Melnyk and Linda Brown; brother-in-law Harold Sears; many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.

Predeceased by her sisters Diane Mowatt and Linda LeBlanc; nephew Daniel LeBlanc.

Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held from the St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Stephen Harnish officiating.

Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, all those 12 and older attending visitation and service will be required to wear masks, show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID.

Interment will be made in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
