Cordie Lee Jones

Cordie Lee Jones, 79, born December 18, 1941, passed away on October 16, 2021, at Scott Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Harvey Lee Weekly and Nancy Ingram. Visitation will be on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services, Morton, MS, and Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM at Christian Triumph M.B. Church, Morton, MS with services to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Willie Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill M. B. Cemetery, Morton, MS under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. Cordie is a native of Morton, MS and lived in Junction City Kansas for a while and moved back home in 1986. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Christian Triumph M.B. Church of Morton, MS. She retired from Scott Regional Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide. Cordie is preceded in death by her husband Isaac Lee Jones and her parents Harvey and Nancy Weekly. She is survived by her three daughters, Shellie Ann Epting of Morton, MS, Joyce Smith of Morton, MS, Rose Marie Epting of Morton, MS; two sons Claude Epting, Jr. of Morton, MS and Joe Bowser of Kansas; eleven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
