<div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9"><iframe class="embed-responsive-item" src="https://portal.midweststreams.com/services/iframe/24925" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen> </iframe></div><p>Pamela Grimsley, 70, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.</p> <p>Pamela was born September 28, 1951, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of William F. and Rose Mary (Neves) Elder. She graduated from Blue Island High School in 1969. Pamela worked at Dadant &amp; Sons in Hamilton, Illinois, Sheller-Globe Corporation in Keokuk and also tended bar.</p> <p>Pamela loved dogs, gardening, reading and thoroughly enjoyed taking photographs of nature.&nbsp; In her earlier days, she was a catcher on the Sheller-Globe softball team. Above all else, Pamela loved spending time with her grandchildren and making memories.</p> <p>Pamela is survived by her son: Timothy (Rose) Taylor of Alexander, North Dakota; four grandchildren: Gage Richardson of Newton, Iowa, Race Taylor of Perryville, Missouri, Jory Taylor of Alexander, North Dakota, and Dylan Taylor of Williston, North Dakota; four sisters: Judy Walker of Keokuk, Iowa, Joyce (Harold) Williams of Citrus Heights, California, Joan Horst of Newton, Iowa, and Penny (Charles) Blakely of Keokuk; and two brothers: Mike Elder of Ruskin, Florida, and W.T. Elder of Keokuk.</p> <p>Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, infant son Thomas Elder and brothers Bob Elder and Billy Elder.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021, at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk, with burial to follow at Sand Cemetery in St. Francisville, Missouri.&nbsp; Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 5 pm, with family meeting friends from 3 to 5 pm.&nbsp;</p> <p>Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Research Hospital or Keokuk Animal Shelter.&nbsp;</p>

Pamela Grimsley, 70, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.

Pamela was born September 28, 1951, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of William F. and Rose Mary (Neves) Elder. She graduated from Blue Island High School in 1969. Pamela worked at Dadant & Sons in Hamilton, Illinois, Sheller-Globe Corporation in Keokuk and also tended bar.
