<p><strong>Francis &ldquo;Fran&rdquo; Scott Keay, 82, formerly of Glen Arm Maryland, most recently resided at Brightview Senior Living, Towson, MD, passed away October 15th, 2021 from Parkinson.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>He was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Margaret R. (nee Michel) Keay of 37 years, and son Michael L. Myers. Also predeceased by brother William (Bill) Keay and his sisters Peg (Ann) Schlee and Gloria Keay.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>He was incredibly compassionate and caring person with a strong sense of justice and service to others.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Francis brought joy to others through the small things in life; being a master of the pun and one liner jokes, his humor was a gift he brought to people to brighten their days. He loved a good chuckle along with others.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Francis loved animals and was a longtime member of the Baltimore zoo.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>He enjoyed many years with the Harford AC and cherished his friendship, especially Lenny and many others.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Francis is survived by daughters Lyn (Richard) Webb, Barbara (James) Peltzer, and son John V. Myers; grandchildren Jesse (Stephanie) Peltzer, Jarett (Vanessa) Peltzer, Richy Webb, Michael (Carissa) Myers, and 7 great-grandchildren.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Special thanks to all his family at Brightview, especially Lakia&nbsp;and Karl and his special companion Kathy from Tribute.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Family and friends will honor and celebrate Francis&rsquo; life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home in Parkville, MD &ndash; 8800 Harford Road on Wednesday, October 20th from 3-5 &amp; 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 21st at 11AM. Francis “Fran” Scott Keay, 82, formerly of Glen Arm Maryland, most recently resided at Brightview Senior Living, Towson, MD, passed away October 15th, 2021 from Parkinson.

 

He was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Margaret R. (nee Michel) Keay of 37 years, and son Michael L. Myers. Also predeceased by brother William (Bill) Keay and his sisters Peg (Ann) Schlee and Gloria Keay.

 

He was incredibly compassionate and caring person with a strong sense of justice and service to others.

 

 A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend.

 

Francis brought joy to others through the small things in life; being a master of the pun and one liner jokes, his humor was a gift he brought to people to brighten their days. He loved a good chuckle along with others.

 

Francis loved animals and was a longtime member of the Baltimore zoo.

 

He enjoyed many years with the Harford AC and cherished his friendship, especially Lenny and many others.
